You can get an EIN from the IRS (if they respond a-hem). That's "Employer Identification Number". It's a simple and painless process, then you can use that in place of your SSN. Just go to the IRS web site and search "EIN". There's a form you fill in and submit.

I just looked it over and think Flippa's prices are way too high for established sites. They're taking advantage more than a realtor does when selling your home! Frankly, I was shocked...

One thing I do (since re-selling was more difficult than I thought it would be) is find small items that don't cost much to mail and offer them in a free drawing, or contest give-away. Bulk buying you can find small items for 1 or 2 $, mailing them costs another couple dollars, but people lap up...

I have software called "Flash Intro and Banner Maker" - it has all common sizes of banners and pre-made effects etc., then turns out flash banners or introductions for you. It's pretty cool ... I can't afford photoshop nor do I need all its bells and whistles since I stink at graphics, so this...

I used to have a blast shopping online and finding all kinds of cool stuff from small sellers that a person just can't find in stores. Now it stinks - but where to find all the little people? Been looking and looking and can't find any... I like those -reminded me of the mom and pop stores that...

I use infolinks and have for years - it's nice for some extra pocket cash, but lately performance has gone down a bit. I set it to have a few less ads on each page to see how that goes. I had 8 per page, dropped it to 5. Not sure if that's going to matter but will find out. They do have nice...

Someone told me a .cd domain name was a great way to protect a domain...I know you're asking about hosting, and that's a huge factor as well, but if I'm understanding things correctly it's important to protect the name too. If I'm wrong I look forward to being corrected...been curious about this.
