    Going to do some testing with regards to creating an account through one of my phones and looking at the traffic. Should be easily mockable in a Windows application. I'm still fairly convinced you're shit out of luck when using 'tainted proxies' though.

    Hi proxymillion, The subject states 'insta' so I would assume they're good to use with Instagram. My big question is; are they usable to create accounts? Because right now we're finding that Instagram blocks proxy X from creating an account but that same proxy can still access Instagram API...

    Created a new ticket just now. #380345. It is about their proxies being registered with Instagram as 'open proxies' and thus Instagram blocks account creation from these IPs. Having used their services before quite a lot and always had good support I'm sure they'll help me/us resolve this issue.

    Absolutely because of the IP used. You can't tell from the error message they display but if you monitor the traffic with a web debugging proxy (like Fiddler) you can see the real reason.
