okay, fair enough:) So can i still provide incentives for people to download files, even if the incentives are not money? e.g. password for a specific program or maybe even runescape account. These are purely examples, just want to make sure i get things right.

Well, i guess opening a forum is part of getting a new experience for myself, knowing how a forum works and its features from the inside could one day be a useful knowledge, however, since its the first time i am starting a forum, so i don't really know how to drive new members to the site..
