It's a big difference between a .com website with spanish content and spanish IP and a .com website with US or UK IP and english content - am I right?
How important do you think it is to get backlinks from websites hosted in the targeted country? Do you consider this when you get backlinks for your website?
For e.g. I want to rank well in google.es. Should I get more websites that have Spanish IP link to me or it's not really an important...

Once again: My backlink counts after G crawls the page where the backlink is on. How do I know when the page was crawled - if the backlink is shown on cache?

Realign02 - Isn't there a traditional way to check if a backlink was picked up or not? Without using any software?
