I understand the scepticism! Very fair point :-) If you were to sniff the traffic from the app though you would see that all the usernames and passwords are kept locally and not send/stored on a server.

I have however now added a README in the download which will help.

It should be pretty self explanatory. It's just a few forms, an image picker etc. As for proxies it's just a standard HTTP or HTTPS proxy URL.
