It's still confusing for me to know when to use landing page, in affiliate programs I find some landing page which land directly to the payment(calling it landing page), others with a funnel, and I don't know when to add another layer (page) or not, is there any rule of thumb?

I use bing ads for promoting the offers of an affiliate program? Is there any way to track conversion of keywords with direct linking (not owning the websitte), maybe a third party software. Because I'm not abtel to set up the javascript code

I heard somewhere that the fact of downloading a landing page can present numerous risks. I dont know which kind of risks a downloaded landing page may contian? malicious code? steal your traffic somehow? Can someone clairify this for me?
