It's been 5 months that I'm doing affiliate marketing but I still cant get fully the purpose of tracking tools (bemob,voluum..), since the data that I'm getting from these tools I can get it directly from the advertising platform.

For instance bing ads gives insights about location, devices, demographics, keywords conversion(tracking tool can't give you that) etc etc.., and they are the same data I find in bemob, then why bother myself setting the tracking.

So I don't know if I'm mistaken or there's another use cases of tracking tools.

The data from the affiliate networks is not true. Whatever data they give you has all the newbies running bad traffic together with good affiliates running good traffic you are getting the combined data which is not true.

So that's the sole reason why we are using tracking tool

Tracking platforms like Voluum provide far more accurate and detailed information that allow you to optimise and scale campaigns.

Bing provides the most basic of info which does not really allow you to properly optimise a campaign for maximum returns.

Exactly, give me example of data that we find in tracking tool but not in bing ads platform
