Depends on the declared value. We ship weekly DHL as well as normal post parcels to US with a declared value of up to USD 300.00. So far ( and it's been a LOT of parcels ) there were never any customs duties or taxes to be paid.

6 bucks is to expensive per shirt in bulk buy. Non branded 100% cotton shirts are about 2 bucks a pop if you buy bulk. Sorry, but I think you are stuck with those
