I looked at their software and its shows that they crawl the last cached date to check what has been updated. Within a few days 70% of links have been re-cached! They say it takes max 2 weeks to do 99% of them. This would be an incredible tool to have handy for testing links good or bad.

I wrote a simple tool to do this in PHP and Mysql but I am not sure how I would bypass the expected issue that Google will block me after a certain number of requests. Hmm didnt think about submitting the links to statistic sites, would that work for deep internal pages like profile links?
