Hi, If we currently have a website that is currently getting 14.5k local hits per month, is the best way to monetize it to convert it to a shopping site or to create a different site that links to it in order to sell our products?

we currently host on godaddy, but would like to know if there are any better options out there for an ecommerce site. we are changing to a drupal site in the near future.
