This year has been terrible for me. While it's just recently started to pick up, I've averaged about 1Million views and $450/ month. Hopefully with longer videos (most of mine are between 30-60 seconds) and better keywords I'll be making much more soon.

I've generally averaged about the same as you... $1/ 1,000 views. Sometimes it's higher (just before school starts and December) and sometimes it's lower (January typically hurts), but that's about where it likes to stay. This year has been a tad low for me.
