My vote is camtasia for screen capture, Adobe Premiere for doing the kind of editing work you mentioned.

Gotta be Jing. I mentioned on another post that although it has a 5-min limit and limited editing after the fact, there is nothing faster or simpler, and I have it on all my machines.

I have been absolutely loving jing for its speed and simplicity. Absolutely braindead simple to use and share with others. The 5 min cap on duration and no ability to edit is a bit limiting, but I have jing on all my computers and use it daily.

This might be possible in Adobe Premiere with the same approach as automating in Photoshop. What you do is record yourself doing a set of actions, which then becomes a script that you can use to perform bulk operations.

Also, are you looking for this to be totally automated, or there be some manual processing. Is this user-generated content or your own?
