Yes it had but those are automatically generated links like, coupon, keywords and other. Those are not good quality links. I've heard Google ignores these links.

Yeah I know links isn't only one, but after so many failure I've noticed, I have burned many sites sending links (both bad and good quality) while I also put good contents there. But, I got good results without links. But, I have waited some times 6-8 months before getting results.
