The 2 parts of Majestic that I really like are the Trustflow, and the pie chart of the anchor text. If Trust Flow is under 10, it's not optimal. If anchor text of a URL that links to you is full of spammy keywords, those sites are likely not going to help you much.

Yeah, I used Group High on demo and it was pretty powerful. You can create all sorts of targeted lists, filtering and slicing/dicing by many different factors. It's a pretty painfree way to quickly find all the blogs within a niche. But at $5k per year ($417 per month), not cheap at all.

Your title question asks how to get indexed quicker, which is a totally different question from how to rank higher. For ranking higher, it depends how competitive the niche is. The more competitive it is, the more high quality, relevant backlinks you're going to need from authoritative sites.
