I think it doesn't depend on .com .org or .us. may be any differences between .com, .org or .us in SERP, but not for pagerank.

better don't blast your money site with spam link. just create any web2.0 properties or create a page on squidoo/hubpages, then blast it with hundreds or thousands of backlinks. next, provide a link from those web2.0 properties or hubpages/squidoo pages that leads to your money site. Hmm...
