in my case, my channel got shadow-banned by Youtube for 2 weeks after the first copyright strike, and when I got the second one (after the first one expired), the shadow ban lasted over a month. If I get a copyright strike and appeal successfully, the shadow ban would be lifted after 14 days...

It happens. Sometimes Youtube shadow ban us (not distributing the videos) for unknown reason. You need some luck besides good content.

Yes, it can be monetized. But you can get copyright strikes anytime. And it's very hard to compete with big channels.
