Not sure how it all works. I had a search and click campaign going for only people in the USA. I understand they're not local to the business area. Oh well I gave it a try.

Update: It appeared things were working a bit with microworkers. But now the business listing is not appearing at all for the search terms. I think it got penalized by Google so I stopped the campaign.

Just running some small search and click campaigns on Microworkers for testing. Really just GBP engagement and a website visit. Seems like its working a little. But the rest of your SEO has to be in check too.
