Yes but when you have a strong accent, it pushes some users away in certain niches(sad but true). I increased my earnings by not using my own voice anymore. Also if you add a simple sound effect like light chorus, it is super difficult to work out if the person is a text to speech voice or a human.

I will have to check Shotcut, never heard of it. Filmora looks good too yes, I think that Davinci resolve is good but difficult to use, unfortunately. I have also noticed that it takes a lot out of my poor video card.

When the voice is good yes. I don't have any problems. If you think about it, if you choose a voice that is difficult to judge between human vs text to speech, it is all good. Some text to speech are ugly, and those will get you banned for sure. But the one I use is perfect for the job.
