yeah I don't trust "free" music. you're always taking a risk. just use the free youtube music

just upload it and set the premiere date in the future or make it unlisted. you can check in your videos then and see if there's a claim. it can always get claimed manually later but if an automatic claim doesn't show up in a few minutes it should be fine.

Worst thing that can happen is they deny your dispute, most likely thing is that they ignore you and then the claim falls off after 30 days. If they deny you and you dispute it again, that's when you can get into trouble.
