I don't know how but on Tumblr (and probably others) web 2.0 are using nofollow tags on links or at least, they don't transfer PR (as ther is no nofollow tag in HTML, can it be hidden in the CSS?). See high PR Tumblr accounts, internal pages are PR0, I presume they don't send link juice. Maybe...
