How does gmail work for you? I've got one mail to send out to around 2000 addresses. It's not urgent - whether it takes an hour or a week, both would be fine for me. But if I send via 2 gmail accounts the same email over a week, 1 every 5 minutes - doesn't gmail block me for that?

That's what I reckon as well .. just the beginning seems to be very difficult. That might be very different from industry to industry. We're running an online store. Do you have any experience there? Will it be better to offer a voucher or a pre packed package of goods?

Yes, I agree. If I'd write or use a bot, I'd just let my computer run 24/7 with the bot and let it take care of it slowly. It might take a week or so, but that seems to be a save approach. Why do you need it fast?

For the traffic: Did you try out different kind of pins and did you try to analise which images perform better? As someone above said: Go for quality, not quantity - your board is big already. :)

That's a lot of banned accounts. But I think alone the fact that you know this forum here shows that you are not a 'normal' user ... ;) That said - I'm a bit lazy with my pinterest and don't do it everyday and build it up slowly - that seems to work out so far. Do you have a list of no go's...

It seems as if Pinterest is not yet doing anything about Spam or uncommon behaviour. But I think if the quality of visitors and content on Pinterest get worse and Google is doing something about it (listing it on page 2 or so) they might start implementing scanners to search for abnormalities.

I don't think it will help a lot to have that many account with low quality or 0 content and no new content coming in. I spent quite some time on Pinterest lately and it seems the more active the more vistors you can get. But who would be interested in following empty accounts?
