caveat to what I am about to say is I would not use this on a client site...however, something I do with ripped images is to edit them and apply some sort of image filter to them--altering the image itself, and of course renaming it. So I might copy an image off of Google, upload it to Canva...

I've found spinning works, but would never use it on my money site, or even Tier 1 site. When I use it on my Tier 2 sites, I take time to proofread it and correct errors. Maybe overkill but it works for me.
