I've had bad luck with paypal/ebay over the past year or two, enough so that it's pushing me more towards Amazon and Craigslist.

My experience with digital downloads has not been too positive, many a posting pulled.

Perhaps, but considering they are having to pay the fees associated with the sales its not really win-win.

I find that if it is a digital download that multiple people are selling, you will sometimes have your listing flagged by one of those other sellers in an attempt to make their sale go up in price. I've only ever had this happen with the digital downloads.

Plenty of people sell such things on ebay, although I have no idea how well they actually sell.

Just keep at it, Ebay generally pulls those digital delivery ads pretty easily, unless it's a 1 day sale.
