how important is seo for tumblrs really? because i would assume that someone finding you from within tumblr is much much more likely to follow/reblog/share your stuff than someone from a search engine, because someone finding you from tumblr definitely has an account. Or is the seo benefit just...

So if you had a list of 404ing tumblr URLs, it would be able to check the list to see if they're available on tumblr, not just whether nobody is using them but if they're actually available? Like a long list checking them all for tumblr at once, not checking them for a bunch of sites one...

as far as I know scrapebox can only check whether the page 404s, but if the page 404s because the user was banned, then that username isn't available for reuse. Can scrapebox check whether the name is available for use, or are you just thinking of the 404 checker functionality?

I don't believe I can do this unless I register accounts under all the usernames, which I haven't done. I just have a list of URLs which have been abandoned!

I've seen this around and it seems to refer to tumblr usernames, but I don't know what PR stands for, can't find it! It seems pr4's might be better than pr1's? How do I check any username that I might have available

I think tumblr may have changed something, because I've done this before without any problems.
