Agree with dxseo Blasting new site can't put your site in sandbox. Google may suspect your site in case of redirection. Check your server header whether it is 301 redirect (move permanently) or not.

Nofollow is not useless. If the blog you have commented is relevant. You can drive some potential customer to your site.
