    NOt Guilty! BS!

    1. Body decomposed in car 2. Duct tape all over kid's face 3. They all acknowledged that they knew about the kid's death ages ago and participated in disposing of the body Guilty or clinically insane--take your pick.

This is hands-down the best free "macro" tool on the planet

You have to script it yourself. You'll never be able to create useful complex macros by recording them.

Did this actually ever work for anyone?

Of course this works, but Google won't let you use AdSense for long if you slap it on a site like that. Check out megarapid [dot] net for an example. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

True, but there's still the lingering electronic trail, so-to-speak, which can be followed through. They could always follow the fake referrer back to the short urls, back to the traffic source (I do understand that's not practical--but it's possible). The only actual solution I can think of is...

This is hands-down the best free "macro" tool on the planet

http://freddy1990.com/index.php?page=product&name=scar It's like iMacros on steroids. With a little common sense and some elbow grease you can whip up a script to do basically anything at a computer, and it'll look like a real user is actually performing the actions. Something I use...

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

I believe you could avoid it by faking the referrer before passing the traffic on to your shorturl service

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

With your scenario, they could potentially use compete to check the traffic source of your own fake short url domains, which would reveal Twitter as the traffic source. That's all I was trying to circumvent. Thanks for the info

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

If I do that, then they can just follow the breadcrumb trail one step further and they'll still find my traffic just the same. Blanking the referrer only serves to hide the traffic on the analytic domain, but the source will still show up as whatever.com if they check up on it. Example: ppc...

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

My tracking software already "fakes" the referrer to the tracking page. The problem with that is that someone can easily check the traffic source of my analytic server. (Compete dotcom, etc.)

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

I'm passing it through my analytic server, so that already results in the referrer displaying as server.whatever.com/?sitename=whatever However, if someone checks out the traffic source for whatever.com, they'll see where it comes from. If I blank it and then pass it through the server, no...

    Blank Referrer in Chrome?

Is it possible to blank the referrer in Chrome/Safari? I've searched but I can't find anything. Changing it is easy enough, but I don't want people to be able to follow a breadcrumb trail back to my original traffic source. Thanks

    Best of Craigslist

Well yeah, I'd be shocked if a significant number of them are real.

    Best of Craigslist

I suppose these are funnier if you market with CL. Random gem here and there.

What are your morals on this one? Guy wants to pay me $3k to hack a competitor.

The kind of person who requests a service like that, given what he said to you, probably isn't very intelligent or socially adjusted. This is the kind of person who is more likely, in my mind, to do something stupid and get themselves caught or at least reveal themselves as a suspect. Then...
