You're right. Which is why I also want input from people about how affiliate platforms like clickbank could be improved. Because I know it can.

Suppose the other extreme was used: no-refund policy. Would that be too harsh for customers to put up with? In that case, maybe it's the vendors that stand to benefit from abuse by selling fake products. There must be some kind of happy medium
Is the 30-60 day refund period required by some sort of law? As far as I can tell Clickbank offers it to keep customers happy. I'm wondering if I can somehow align the refund and vendor payout time windows to be more efficient.
As a software developer and casual Clickbank user, I feel Clickbank offers a poor user experience, and a competing platform could be built that provides greater profitability to vendors and affiliates.
The cons I see with Clickbank:
$50 product approval fee for vendors
7.5% + $1 commission...
Have 80 clicks so far. Haven't seen any more traffic in at least 24 hours. The vast majority from the US, just as I selected. Two clickbank hops but no conversions. May try a 5000 visitor package for further review. A few questions though:
