I too am curious about this. It appears your plugin was released here first...then a product launch was done for what looks to be exactly the same product but with much different pricing. Both products are from Force Spark, and both websites use the same graphics. Even on the demo video...

I've never had an issue ranking a Facebook page with just pure spam links. As the DA for Facebook is so high, their is more trust in the SERPS. You can pretty much run GSA non-stop with huge auto approval lists and rank on page one over a relatively short period of time.

In terms of expired domains, age does not matter...if you were buying a domain before it expired then yes. Once the domain expires and you register it, the age resets itself in the registry. It will not retain that age in the whois lookup any longer and will only show the new date the domain...

I use heatmap tracker, provides basic analytics but gives great information on what users are actually doing on my sites. Records user sessions so I can play it back and see where people click and how they interact with the site. Great for split testing

You could 301 them to your primary domain with content on them...then do some SEO link building tests and see if things improve or hurt your rankings. If the link building hurts your domain, you can turn the 301 off and the penalized site will not pass the negative juice to your primary domain.
