Made it up to 520 followers on tumblr. Does anyone know or have any tips on how to get a larger following using tumblr?

I just typed in search terms for people with the same interests and liked their posts and pictures, they just started following and commenting. I was going to use fiverr to get followers but decided against that, lol trying to build a solid foundation with this method

the # of followers for each social network was just me going to those sites and seeing how many followers it has. And yes, the link shortening website is shorte.st / has anyone else used them before?
