Yes, google account need to seem like a normal user account. Not only watch videos, but also browse the internet. The first week a new created google account is almost useless. After 1 week of warmup, it will work better. Is not just the age of the account, it's also about the history of the same.

Try diabling the "Allow embedding" option on each video for a while, and see if the bots still bothering your channel.
