first of all i think going to black/grey hat method at the beginning with no experience at all is going in too risky.. i would have done more research and checked out some white hat stuff initially until youre confident enough to meddle into blakc/grey hat methods.

i think in general most old tools won't wonk the same way as before.. with all of the updates happening, I'm sure "old tools" would also have updates that they;ve done on their end. Use RankerX or try looking into PBN domains - scrapebox and GSA arent working like they used to.

Hmm, i dont think Google will. If they are very similar pages - like the title and.or h1 is the same, it will treat them as duplicates and probably won't be indexed. But this isn't how Google thinks about spam

depends on your customers? whats your target market? generally, i think building business page credibility is a big plus. real followers, reviews?, regular and consistent posts
