If you run your own software, and don't use proxies, I'm pretty sure you leave a trail. If someone was vigilant, they could contact the sites the links appear on and request your IP. Also, you can leave a footprint if you attack multiple sites. Even with Fiverr gigs, you run a risk. These guys...
