To be honest if you are going for 3D, I would recommend a desktop at this price. Are you sure that you absolutely need a laptop? If you are so persuaded on laptop I have seen some good stuff on a Toshiba Qosmio a friend of mine had and it should be well into your budget.

Microsoft and their 'revolutionary' windows for phone 7.. I am not much into this system. Android is so much better. At least its not Symbian though! (still an upgrade for N)

I believe NOD32 is best AV out there. It's super light and I have never had any problems for the past 3 years. Definitely worth subscribing IMO.
