You probably need to find a content with archive . org first and find the expire domain then by researching google for expired domain lists. Or you can look for a sounding good domain and rely on luck, you'll find your contents, lol.

Definitely start from building more traffic if you want to earn. Even if your every visitor clicked your AdSense there is no revenue form it which could make you satisfied or maybe I am wrong?

You can go to eLance and determine your price even as a minimum allowed an you should find someone who will do this fine. I know forum, where I know that the owner writes as at least five people and it's very well ranked in google.

Alright, but is this all that makes the trick...

It seems that even spelling might be meaning. Search engines can classify the website as US or UK basing on the way the text is spelled, e.g. 'colors' for US and 'colours' for UK, etc. I'm sure that this is not the clue criteria, but it's worth to be aware of that too.

And how about the domain? If that is US domain, but it's registered with non US address. I found somwhere, that it might be examined by search engines as well.
