I do not believe exact match domains efficiently help with ranking at all. Purchasing a decent expired domain that is just a random word can outperform an EMD easily. Or consider creating your own domain and building authority to it.

I would recommend targeting different interests or keywords. Also change your ad copies to new headlines/images/videos. Targeting different countries can also impact your cost per click as well. Most people use Facebook and Google ads so it's not the platform.
