Do you think dropshipping women's clothing from AE to shopify is a good idea ?? I want to make a brand store, with 1000 products from AE, and traffic from IG shoutouts and FB Ads.

Do you think it will work or not ! Need your suggestions.

Personally, no. Not unless you have a lot of money to spend on marketing, branding, and to pay a professional web developer to build a custom and professional website. Clothing is one of those niches that needs a lot of brand trust to be successful. And by successful I mean to make more than a few hundred dollars a month. Maybe you should start small and just try the tshirt route.

Yes awful, women are finicky and dont trust off brands. Wven lower income people would rather buy used name brand than new off brand.

No, I wouldn't do clothing. The biggest issue is clothing has a very high return rate, and returns to AliExpress are a pain in the ass.

If you're going to drop ship, ideally you want a product that can't be returned (as in it's illegal to be returned; some health & beauty products fall under this) or isn't returned frequently.

Things like that fidget cube was a great drop ship product until everyone and their grandma started selling it. You didn't get many returns, people couldn't get it locally in stores, it was an impulse purchase. So people would buy it.

Have yu had sucess dropshipping fleshlight etc. I was under the assumption you couldnt advertise that stuff on fb or adwords or any othet big advertising platform. Unless you use a cloaker..

I would also not recommend women's clothing due to competition, construction quality and the inherent problems related to clothing returns.

Yes, that is a good idea. You can always use your social media accounts in bringing traffic to your site.

In theory, yes it sounds like it'll work. But in practicality, it may not work efficiently. Why would you import 1000's of products from AE when you're only going to be advertising a handful at a time? Focus on small quantities rather than large quantities. I made the mistake, spent hours customizing descriptions + titles, and those products were never seen.

My Advice: Choose 10-50 products. Choose the #1 product you'll advertise and stick to advertising that product. Make the ad copy for that product amazing and the rest will come easy. Be sure to use natural traffic sources from forums and Reddit as well.
