What does it feel like to be alive?

Have you ever just sat down in a quiet place and really felt what it's like to be alive? Your life force, your own perfectly unique rhythm? Like, if there was a robot that was trying to understand what it's like to be "alive", what would you tell it?

It's....well it's kind of messy haha. It's hot. Like...I feel really hot sometimes, especially in my arms. There's a lot of energy sometimes that has nowhere to go... Then it's kind of sweaty, and stinky from the sweat. And lots of farting.

And sometimes it's sweet. Really. Falling in love, being successful after trying for a long time, nostalgia, etc... it just feels nice in a very painful way. I was walking from the store and I saw two toddlers giggling and playing with each other and it was just such a nice feeling. That moment, the innocence and sweetness of their youth, the sun breathing life, love and warmth upon me, the piss, smoke and shit from the open sewers invading the core of my tranquility, everything was just one pure moment of LIFE. At its rawest and most extreme form.

I feel alive. I have life, and I want to feel alive permanently. Eternally. And I will.

Ohhh I'm a crazy music lover, sometimes I'm in the mood for something from the 90s, sometimes I go back to the 70s (like I did yesterday with 3 hours of Iggy Pop). Sometimes I'm into a typical dark techno mood (normal I live in Berlin), and sometimes I listen to some crazy trash metal from the 90s and 80s like Sepultura for example. So basically yes, I can connect almost everything with a song.

I'm not sure if @Neon actually listens to these kind of tracks (i believe so), but my neighbors are listening to this now with no option to opt-out. lol

Btw summer festival season is around the corner, we (me & my friends) usually start off the season with a smaller retro music festival, this year's performers:
La Bouche, Five, Culture Beat, Magic Affair, Nana, Masterboy, Soundlovers, Master Blaster

Nothing is better than getting shitfaced to 80's, 90's music, strictly half playback of course.

But to not derail this thread entirely and answering to @pewep, if anyone was on a bigger concert in an open space, where tens of thousands of people are enjoying themselves and jumping to the same rhythm, that's one occasion when you can feel very much alive.

Experienced that once I went into a few clubs on a stay in Berlin. I don't know if I didn't pick the right ones or if that was just coincidence, but music was really different to the clubs here in cologne/Dusseldorf. Even in the "basic" ones.
