Just wondering what kind of conversion rate would be considered good for a dropshipping site. Right now I have under 1% conversion, 700 visits and 5 sales. I'm not sure if thats good or if I gotta switch products / improve site appeal.

We get about 4% so 1% would be considered low to me but more important to me is the net profit per sale.

If you make 5 sales in a day and each sale is $100 profit that's fine but if you make $5 per sale it's less fine.

are you doing aliexpress dropshipping?

At least 1%. What is also a very important metric to look at is ROAS. You could have a great conversion percentage but if you're spending a crap load on ads... then what's the point.

It depends actually. Keep in mind, expensive goods will convert lower. Also, targeted traffic will convert better, and un-targeted traffic will convert much worse.
