I have been using FL for a while now (over a year) and have been leaving my computer awake whenever I go to work so the FL runs. I am looking at purchasing a VPN (at least I think I'm understanding it correctly) and running FL on the VPN so that I can turn off my laptop.

Am I risking a ban by the sudden move of my FL actions to another IP address? If my understanding of a VPN is wrong, please let me know.

Thanks guys!

You need a VPS, not a VPN. Since you're running it on your own computer right now and worry about an ip change I assume that you do not use proxies, hence you dont have many accounts.
If your accounts are established already an ip switch shouldn't be too much of a problem, you'll probably get a verification request (phone/email) however but it shouldn't kill your account.

Correct, I only use FL for 3 accounts. I could care less about 2 of them, but 1 is my main personal account that I have had for 5 years. I have never used proxies with FL. I am looking at doing the GreenCloudVPS and don't think I would need proxies for this?

VPS = Virtual Private Server ... can leave this running 24x7

With each account you may want to use a dedicated private proxy, so each account is running with its own unique IP.

If your cleaver you get proxies from your country and than there shouldnt be no problams at all

I run my own main also on a VPS with MP without a proxy, i have switched VPS 3 times so far (so new ip every time) and my gf uses my account too. Apart from a phone verification I haven't had troubles. So since your account is a main which you likely also use on your phone and is quite old you shouldn't have any problem. For new accounts I'd recommend using proxies though in case you want to add some new accounts. After all , if you have a VPS why not use it to grow some more accounts

Just make sure you only run 1 account per 1 IP at the same time.

I've ran 5 accounts on the same IP but not at the same time.
