Hey guys,

I'm didn't want to post this in the blackhat forum because I often do not agree with them and like to get some opinions of whitehat people even if it is about buying backlinks.

I have a project which has about 10-30k unique visitors per day and is about half a year old. But I gain natural backlinks very slowly due to a blackhat niche. My question now is, how many backlinks would you recommend per week with these stats? I thought about 3-5 should be fine.

As @Monsterer has mentioned, quality should be your priority. As for a specific number, i think 5-10 backlinks a week would be fine.

As above work more on quality and also do something that you can sustain because you want steady flow of links over a long period.

3 High Alexa ranking links should be fine for your white hat traffic :)

There is no limit, you can create any number of backlinks but as said above prefer quantity over quality, try to earn them rather them creating them

Hi, You can start with 2 backlinks each week till - 3 weeks ,
then you can start growin your back links every month till you will do 4 back links each week after a while.
that's worked for me :p

I've seen good results from 1 a week. But over a long period of months.

All of you who have given a number are full of shit. It completely depends on the niche, the level of competition and what they are doing.

It also depends where OP sits currently within the niche in terms of ranking. OP, roll a dice for the answer and it will be just as accurate as any of the other responses on this thread....

The only way to tell is competitor analysis. How many links are your competitors getting every week / month and What is the quality of those links? Within this lies your answer. As long as it looks natural and similar to them.

I think 10 quality back links a week is perfect then 100 low quality backlinks. Also depend on the competitor but i prefer the slow and gradually link building. lots of backlinks in quick time looks unnatural to Google and can be penalized.
