Just wanted a view from you guys.

Should I go for a highly searched but low competition buyer keyword which only has products priced above $1000 in Amazon and build my website around it?

How many search volume per month for this product and how about the vertical product ...

The buyer keyword is a "best xx" and has around 8000 searches per month with keyword difficulty of 26 in kwfinder.

type:

niche "is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com"

Into google to see all your competition and decide.

it's good enough search volume how about the competitor analysis ... How many authority websites on Google 10 result... did you check that.

You should go for best xx according to kwfinder.

Definitely a good idea to focus on high priced items. The commission are fatter. The amount of work it takes to rank is almost the same as lower priced product (according to you the competition is low).

I do not know the number of authority sites in top 10 since I am yet to buy the keyword from the provider. But Keyword Difficulty is 26.
My question is does anyone buy $1000 and above products much from Amazon or from offline stores?

Why not? If the product value justify. This is Amazon a multi billion Company that has established trust with consumers.

You can not get more sales this type of product bcz people always think and more analysis before purchasing if the product price is much higher like 1k.

For me If they price buy from offline store is same or slightly different($1-200) I will buy from offline store, since i will get a better service buying offline than the self service buying online. Also, having physical contract with people is better than in between screen. It produce a trustworthy feel.

But for low price item(example:phone casing),I will buy online even the price is slightly high.

Is the product seasonal ? You don't want to be buying a snow moving machine keyword, as an example.

Is the product evergreen?

What is the % commission of the product after the recent Amazon changes?

What is the competition like ? Ask for the screenshot of the top 10 on page, as an example.

Exactly what my thought has been.

It is in the Lawn & Garden niche and it has 8% commission. But your other points are really valid. With a 5-6% commission some other keyword with lesser monthly searches and lesser value with low competition would work better.

Here are the stats of all the keywords on offer. Which ones you think are best to invest on?

You can tell by going to Amazon and seeing what volume the sellers of that product have in terms of unit sales.

I do like the good old fashioned tried and true affiliate method. Your source for keywords is rather wasted if you can simply search yourself to find profitable niche you fit into. I would skip the middleman and devote some time to niche resarch, in which case you'll be able to find the in demand products that are worth selling, not aliexpress cheap chinese bs everyone aroudn here favors... And they wonder why they fail, or why campaigns are not profitable in long term, etc. People don't want cheap, they want great engagements with the products. Your affiliate sites needs to engage them, manipulate them into buying from your link and not amazon affiliateclone 700trillion @ AOL SPAMMER WALL . FREEDOMAIN

The question is not do people buy $1,000 products off amazon. The question is, how many times do people purchase $1,000 products OFF amazon. Obviously, people buy $1,000 products off amazon. How many sales do you actually expect. Usually the sweet spot for online purchases is around the $30 dollar mark. Idk all depends how you setup your site really.
