Growing Instagram and monetizing (Advice Swap)

Hey there,

I'm new on here so go easy on me

I'm interested in growing a big Instagram account and monetizing it. I have good experience with marketing and social media platforms but not so much when it comes to proxies, adsense and bots.

I plan on starting a journey to organically grow a handful of accounts and monetize them.

I will post updates once I've officially started but at the moment I'm just doing research and warming accounts up (so this might start off as a boring thread lol)

1 - I have struggled to find legit Instagram account sellers;

Would you recommend buying an account with a small following 1k-5k or creating my own using Instagress or similiar software?

2 - Timescale

If using Instagress to build an Instagram account on a slow setting what is a rough timescale to hit thr 1k follower mark (assume I'm using the right settings/demographics)

3 - I don't expect anyone to share their successful niches with me but

Would you say popular niches are over saturated and not worth doing?

4 - I plan to stack monetizing methods but

Do you find some methods work better for the long haul? IE If I got paid to use links (that look spammy) do you think it would cause me to lose followers.

5 - MOST IMPORTANT

I am a marketing guru and have a good understanding on algorithms on Facebook and Instagram so if you need any help let me know.

I do work fulltime so I will try to reply and update in a timely manner!

(I have no interest in anything fake to 'grow' my account as it will ruin my engagement/reach)

I've worked in social media marketing and events for 9 years I don't claim to know everything but might be able to help some people on here
