iWriter Plaigerism

I've purchased iWriter articles on occasions, normally for PBN posts. Recently I bought 10 x posts with the exact same keyword, out of the 10, all but 2 of the returned articles came back with the exact same content. What's going on here? Are the iWriter writers all sourcing content from the same places? How does this pass copyscape?

I would contact the iWriter support team, they are normally pretty quick at shutting down duplicate copy.
Unsure how this passed copyscape though as every article submitted needs to pass it first, so I would defo bring it to their attention.

With iWriters, yeah sure some are doing whatever they can, some are useless, and some are good.
The trick is to find the good ones and keep them in your stable, can be pricey to organise that at first but saves time and eventually money later down the line.

This is good advice. I use iWriter a lot for both pbn and money site content and yes it's true that some can be awful. I've never heard of your experience happening though. Definitely contact the support team.

I've found the original article or articles, it's all over the web. Ironically, it's the same article I'm using as part of the GSA tiered structure. No idea how this isn't getting flagged in copyscape, there are literally 40 versions of this.

As an experiment I've rejected some of these as spam with a link to the original, I've now had over five articles resubmitted, all are the exact same. I think the writers are going to https://ezinearticles.com/ and submitting old content, which is passing copyscape.
As a consequence, I'm hugely suspicious of any article I've had written in the past, and so far out of the 10 I've checked, 3 already exist on the web.
I think it's safe to assume that copyscape is not working as intended and iWriter writers are freely submitting existing content. These are writers with 4 star plus rating, Premium or above.
I'm gutted as I have allot of PBN posts with iWriter content, much of which might be plagiarised.

The check was just googling a phrase which would be fairly unique, for example "the Japanese are known for consuming exquisite seafood, such as sashimi". Including the quotes to get an exact match.

If anyone cares, I've now gone through around 25% of my historical articles and I'm averaging about 30% already exist. Most seem to come from http://ezinearticles.com, but there are some genuine blogs thrown in as well. If google knows about them already then I think it makes using them in a PBN nearly useless.
Overall I'm gutted by this. I'm going to have to have a serious rethink about how I'm going to get relevant PBN content.
The upside is iWriter have so far refunded everything I've flagged, however, I have just sent them a large batch of 20 articles that are already duplicated, including some Premium $10 ones, we'll see how they respond.

Thanks for the update. Can you keep us posted about what iWriter do about this, I just auto assumed if it passes copyscape its good to go.
Maybe get in touch with Copyscape directly and see what they are saying about it

It shouldn't be necessary to have to go through trial and error in order to get a plagiarism free article.

Regardless, iwriter are yet to respond.

In my Experience IWRITER has been a horrific source of content. I actually had someone contact me telling me that they had been scammed on Freelancer.com that someone made them write 100 articles and didnt pay them after then aparently that person resold the articles to me. Coincidently the articles he resold to me were the only decent ones i had found on iwriter so i offered him a job writing for me directly. Hes now my fulltime writer and has been for over 6 months.

I have also had even worse results with fiverr, at least with iwriter you expect shit quality, with fiverr they have descriptions in perfect english stating their english writers as a first language, then I get some these fiverr articles and their spun garbage.

You can eventually find someone good but its hard you have to sift through alot of crap to get a good writer. Right now I have my serbian writer i met through the scammer, my premium writer off textbroker i send my anchor articles to and then my little brother whos in highschool i have write articles for money hehehe

Yes I agree, but sometimes that's just how it happens, like on here with article writers, some are better than others. No guarantees with anything

They use a spinner that encodes the original content and produce an output that search engines/ plagiarism checkers will read it as "unique" even though it looks exactly like the original.
