The traffic on the semrush.com site seems to have increased, but there have not been any sort changes?

What's the deal with you?

Yep, I fetched it after I was done. I guess it works a little bit faster but is not the point.

As I said earlier, you have to increase the overall quality of your site. Once you reached the panda threshold, the demoter is lifted.

- Check for dupes
- Decrease Keyword density
- Look for internal linking overoptimization, for example your 404 page. Is it directed with keywords to the pages that droped. Somewhere in the sidebar ?
- Noindex thin content pages. Do it this way, check by ranking checker which pages got hit the hardest. Improve them, by images, more content, contextual non keyword internal linking to other pages, youtube embeds and authority outlinks or noindex them. This is a deadweigt on your entire site

- I already fix dupe with no indexing category and tag
- I check my number 1 competitor for each keyword and made same KD precentage, if my competitor have 0,7% KD so do I.
- should I make outbound link to authority site on every article? do follow or no follow?

- 3 weeks before I got punish by Fred, I have some problem.
In 1 day I got massive 404 page not found, about 3000 link.

When I checked, all link contain adult tag, like:
mydomain[dot]com/tags/***n*s
mydomain[dot]com/tags/*u****

I never made all those tags, because my blog niche's is education.

So I use redirect plugin, and redirect all those link to blank post.
and did "mark fixed" on search console.

Is that affecting my site?

Because when I checked on ahrefs and search console, there is no suspicious backlink.

Oh my gosh. Please say, you didn't do that. That was negative seo attack, where somebody is building adult term links to non existing sites, to throw 404 in your search console. Most likely a competitor did that.

If you redirected it, he f*cked you over.

You can be sure, those links are toxic as hell. He simply uses a sneaky redirect, means sites with locked out ahref and majestic crawlers but g still sees them, they should show up in your search console. Coming from some p* site, GSA SER , burned PBN or SAPE.

Excuse my intromission here but I have a question regarding what you posted,

Is it a bad idea to redirect all 404 to my homepage for example?

Because if someone negs seo my site on nonexisting subdomains wiith spammy backlinks, that will not appear when I ahref the backlinks of my MS? Maybe i did not understand what you said here, but sadly im being spammed negative gsa almost daily and maybe im missing some spam backlinks because of that 404 to homepage redirection?

Thank you.

What should I do now?
should i cancel the redirect to my blank post?

As far as I can see, it was just an adjustment of the panda algo. Problem is, that the quality score of most the pages is in the tank. This is what John Mueller in the Hangouts also confirmed.

Point beeing you can find different workarounds for the problem. Change your internal linking, delete thin pages, decrease your kw density, add schema markup, get rid of spammy links, add content, increase social shares and mentions, remove ads, redo the page layout, reduce bounce rate.

Do all of these. Panda has a kind of threshold how it differs high quality and low quality sites, once you reached this tipping point, your rankings skyrocket. But, I don't know where the tipping point for your site is and honestly speaking nobody does.

@german seo, I follow a lot of your discussion topics, I also think the problem might be thin content, keyword density and many internal links. How long does this modification take to increase your site rankings, increase traffic again?
Thanks!

A 404 is not going to hurt you, unless you got a lot of traffic from those which may increase your bounce rate and other site metrics. G stated several times 404 don't impact your sites ranking. So, the ONLY reason to redirect 404 is preserving link juice in all other cases don't do it, but customize your 404 error page so the visitors find what they looked for.

G is very vary of new links, if they don't fit your sites topic, no traffic coming there and some spammy source, they will be discounted immediately, no reason to worry about.

should i cancel the redirect to my blank post?

Yes and remove the blank post and other blank posts by noindexing or deletion.

thin content, keyword density and many internal links

A panda recovery takes 5-10 days, depending on the crawling rate of your site.

This is what a successful recovery should look like, data from SEMRush and Search Console. It should pretty much go back, where it came from before the update.with a lot of dancing.

What kind of change you did? It almost one month has gone but i unable to figure out the problem. It's very frustrating for me. I have lost almost 80% visitors.

Find the pages, which suffered the most. Check the bounce rate and time on page. Then go to analytics audience > behaviour > engagement and tell what your percentage of duration 0-10 sec is (visible on mouse over). Then I might be able to help you.

lol i dont read turkey but it says 99% of people visiting your site go back before 10sec.. tbh im very impressed because i had to put spun unreadable content and people still waited for 30 secs before going back. You must be very good at what you do

The situation in this sector in Turkey is in this range. Most pages usually have / amp indexes.

The visitor comes quickly and does not see the comments exactly. As of today, I removed the amp plugin

The situation in this sector in Turkey is in this range.

You are perfectly right, Turkish is one of the heaviest spammed languages in G. Point is this, with this analytics is just not possible to get a panda penalty of the hook.

You must first fix, the quality issues (keyword density, dupes and so fourth) and then prove you significally improved your site, by real traffic conforming it.

The penalty usually disappears in the 55% range. Problem is you are around 85 %. You have to get rid off the trash traffic. Make the changes, and pove G afterwards it really improved your user metrics.

I need to look at the keyword density of each article?

Start with your most important pages and work your way down. Taking shortcuts is what got you here in the first place, to get ranked well you need to take the time and do everything as good as you can for the site.
