I've been trying to read the forums, but it's all greek to me.
I'm getting a new corporate website next week and I've just started a blog at blogger.com
What I want to avoid is adding content for 6 months and no one being able to see it because of something I should or should not have done. My type of business is done face to face, so I don't want to spend a bunch of money. Questions
I guess the first question should be can I really show up well in Google by just adding content overtime?
If so how much would one of you charge me to simply check out my website and or blog to make sure I'm on the right track?
Thanks in advance

Nobody will charge you to look and give advice on your site, many of us will do it for free.

Awesome! The new one I'm getting next week will be the one I use. I don't know what the url is yet. It is company branded and has some good tools, but I set up the SEO by adding keywords and meta? tags. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get the address. Thanks!

gimme a keyword via pm, and # where you rank atm and I can check out what you are up against in 1-10.

The guys above are trust worthy, but don't just send your site / keywords to any old random person who PMs you, you might end up feeding the competition.

You better keep in touch with BTB, as soon as your website is up for further followup

I am kinda new to this one and I am also planning to make a new site. May I know how this works? Thanks!

OP, feel free to PM your site when it goes online. I'll do it for free.

thanks everyone. bass tracker has helped me out tremendously. since publishing the unfinished website, i have had a couple attempts at hacking.
i think gstatic.com was involved in trying to put an ad on my site and today i got an email that someone made changes to my microsoft account.
Can anyone recommend security software that really works?

You got a keylogger buddy. Scan and clean your pc with

1. hitman pro
https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp.aspx

2. malwarebytes

and install bitdefender 30-days trial

Improve your on-page SEO and produce good content. Post content in forums and social media. For social media, don't just post randomly, find groups that are interested in your content and post there (eg. if you're writing about aquariums, find a fish group).

If you want people to simply view your site, like others have said, just ask :).
