Hi, I am long time in the contect locking business. I had great days with 3 figures each and awful days with only couple of bucks made.
(English is my second language so please be patient….)
Why not using the big content locking companies?
Scraping, scraping and scraping…… I tried all of them outside and they give you less then third of the money you can earn with your own content locker using CPA offers form companies like maxbounty or peerfly. Incentive offers are sucks!
What we would need?
1 popup pro – Wordpress plugin– this plugin is using geoip detection and when you use css, you can disable the “close” button completely so nobody can close the popup. It also allow you to choose between desktop and mobile popup.
2 Pretty links pro – give you the option to shorten links and meta refresh the referral. In another word. Hide completely the traffic source.
You can use other scripts to do that but I like this one because it is very simple and you can manage all the offers from one place.
Why not using an existing private content locker?
There is’nt any private content locker that actually working right now….
CPL (Content Locker pro) and Mlc (Mighty Locker) were great fot 2011-2013 but now it’s a mobile game and none is responsive. I also didn’t see any new message on their forums for the last years and They both have great problems handling google chrome browser. I changed the code on both to improve country geo location but it still doing many problems.
So how we are going to do that?
1 build new popup in popup pro. Upload image to it (for best results choose square size)
2 choose whatever animation you want
3 in the geo location area choose for which country you want this popup to appear.
4 choose if you want this popup to appear in Desktop only or mobile only. That’s very important! If you are using mobile only, you can promote mobile offers for ios and android and such and if you choose desktop you can promote offers which allow desktop traffic only.
5 add this css in the appropriate place:
.wdpu-close {
display: none !important;
}
6 duplicate this popup 20 or 30 times and make uniqe popup for each tier 1 country and traffic source like: usa mobile only, usa desktop only, uk mobile only….
7 use meta refresh redirect to hide the referral for great offers from the big companies. You can do that using pretty links pro or using any other script or plugin that do that. Add the offers to each locker.
8 For little countries or tier 3 don’t waste time building content locker, let them surf freely. It’s good for SEO and they may like or twit your post.
9 for more advanced users, you can make the content work for each second or third visitor using some scripts, it also great for keeping good ranking on google. You can also make the popup appear only when the user is clicking some element or after a period of time like three minutes after the movie begin.
And for the next contect locking website all you have to do is copying the plugin and update database.
