One thing I know for sure, I can't get any better wife than her. I mean, its this girl or none. Yes I do feel comfortable and just like I mentioned, everything has been great for the last 5 years, it's just me never being ready for a commitment. Any commitment that would result in bringing even the slightest change in my current life. But I really hope I get used to it somehow. the first few weeks or months would be the toughest for sure.

My first post was a humor one albeit true but if that is how you feel my guess is you'll be just fine.

Life changing events cause trepidation in most people and often it is fear of the unknown as opposed to fear of something real and at hand.

Were I a betting guy I'd say you have 63 years of wedded bliss ahead of you.

I want to get married like you, but I have not got a girlfriend yet T___T

I want what I want when I want it. I think its just a piece of paper and an excuse to have a big party.

Fact if you take the money you spend on the wedding and invest it instead, it will change your life for the better.

It will pass brother not a big deal i was feeling the same back then when i was 15 and got married

This is called getting cold feet. it's a natural feeling when going through an emotional time like this. You are putting everything under a microscope and over analyzing. Imagine getting a call from her saying she has terminal cancer. I bet you would value the time and relationship a lot more. Live life like you're dying. Because you are.

Marriage for me is of top importance because I plan to only do it once. Its not only my word its my relationship with my wife and the mother of my future kids. Also, if you have faith its a commitment to God.

Be open with your partner to get rid of the fears. Fear = False Events Appearing Real

Find out now. I wish you well GL

It's pretty normal that you get scared the last days before marriage. Just get over it and marry this girl if you already say "the last 5 years were great" and "i can't get any better wife than her". You will regret it someday when you're not marrying her in 2 days , i am sure. If you are marrying her, then have a good wedding;)

I like going to weddings for the food, especially when the newly weds spend $$$$ on good catering. One of the more memorable weddings I went to was one I was taking photos for a few years ago that had some AMAZING food. The wedding itself was bland and the location was terrible, but that food made up for it.

Unfortunately, many of the other people I know are cheap and just get married "under the table"; you don't know they're married until they tell you because they didn't bother having a celebration. I mean, it's their choice, but some days I wish I had more weddings I could attend.
