I am just start using instagram and trying to increase following but not get any success. Anyone please guide me how to increase followers and engagements.

If you're doing it manually do follow/unfollow method, Which means follow the people in your niche also like their post and eventually they will follow you back not 100% sure but decent amount will follow you back (then you can unfollow them), post relevant quality content if you can afford use bots they will do these task (massplanner/followers)

Try massplanner if you want to run multiple accounts even they're giving 5 days trial. (Proxies required though), I heared followliker also good but never used ,test by your self you will get to know. Don't go aggressive mode initially.

Create an interesting Bio
Include a profile photo
Include a URL link to your website or social accounts
Include a clever #hashtag
Set your profile to Public

if you are short in funds better do things manually then invest in followliker as its one time and can do most of the basic things easily.
Start with Follow/UnFollow big accounts followers that would bring followers fast but they wont interact much so your engagement rate would be low. Later you can start following users who interact with the big accounts posts.

Well you should look into niche like if you are running a travel niche account look for big travel bloggers. same for other niches.
You should prepare a list of your competitors so that you can track them and see what good or bad they are doing.
