Just have another rank tracking graph for a client, this was for a high comp general product 2-word keyword
In 2 weeks it has gone from outside top 100 to top 10 and I predict it will go to top have #1 in the next few weeks. Ranking for such a powerful keyword makes this a very valuable site, even if they client doesn't want to develop it, the site could be sold for many thousands based off that ranking.

I've had a few requests for help with campaigns, so I thought I'd explain my approach to attacking a new niche or product launch.
First thing is you don't have to reinvent the wheel. People have been ranking for these products and keywords and you can too by replicating what they do.
For example, say you want to rank for a new clickbank product being launched, first thing you do is find a related product in the same niche. Search for it and record the suggested searches that are provided. These are the most popular searches related to your niche. Go through each of these and check what types of sites rank for them. Videos, review sites, Web 2.0s, parasite sites - these will all appear. Choose which route you want to go for your campaign. For total domination do them all.
Setup your sites and use the titles, descriptions and content for the sites you found as a guide for your own site.
Once they are setup start promoting them, you need links and good anchor diversity. I can help with the first part and the second part as well.
