I monitor about 22 website rankings and noticed ranking shifts for most of them.
1 website went up to page 1 for about 12 keywords (previously pages 2-7.
There were about 5 websites that went from pages 1-3 down to pages 3-5. Interesting to see that they all dropped about 2-3 pages
The other websites have normal Google dance rankings of some small variations but not dramatic changes.
Here is my SEO strategy to help define what maybe went wrong for some of those sites stuck in pages 3-5
1. Manually created Web 2.0s, Social Media Profiles/Bookmarks, website profiles (natural and brand anchors)
2. Paid PBN links (small orders maybe 15 links per website) keyword anchors
3. Local citations manually created
4. Internal linking
5. Use my own web 2.0s and websites to post keyword anchors.
I think that my anchor text diversity needs to be increased to mostly natural URLs and brand names. Other than those comparisons I cant figure out what else needs to be done.
I also wanted to note that the sites that got hit have recently purchased PBN links in January and Feb. At first the rankings were increasing but now the rankings were better before I paid for the expensive PBN posts. Kind of frustrating
